Cooling towers

The main technological elements (cooling tower structure) are a water distribution device, a sprinkler, a catch basin, a water trap, and an air control device. In cooling towers, they perform the same functions as in fan cooling towers, and can often be similar in design.

A cooling tower is a large reinforced concrete or metal pipe made in the shape of a cone. Inside this structure there is a water tank, a liquid and air supply system, and a sprinkler. Due to the cone-shaped design, the air entering the holes at the bottom of the tower moves upward and mixes with water under natural draft. This type of cooling tower is quite economical.
