Using the rod shifters allows:
- Prevent loosening of the threaded connections of the sucker rod column;
- Ensure uniform wear of the plunger and cylinder of the downhole sucker rod pump;
- Ensure uniform wear of the sucker rod column;
- Increase the service life of sucker rods in curved sections of the well due to the constant change in the position of the stressed layers of the rod body;
- Efficiently combat paraffin deposits in the tubing in the case of using sucker rods equipped with centralizer scrapers.
