In-house oilfield equipment workshop
on the OMZ plant site
The oilfield equipment workshop of JSC Ocher Machine-Building Plant is one of the plant's key production areas, specializing in equipment and components for the oil production industry. Production is located in a modern complex with a total area of about 27,000 m², and the main rod production area occupies four bays of the plant.
More than 300 qualified specialists work in the workshop, and production lines are designed to manufacture up to 1,000,000 pump rods per year. Lathes, milling machines, boring machines, drilling machines, grinding machines, broaching machines, and gear-cutting machines, including CNC equipment, are used for technological operations.
A mechanical area of about 4,500 m² is of particular importance, where precise machining of parts and assemblies is performed. Bridge and jib cranes are installed to move heavy and large workpieces, helping maintain safety and stability of production processes.
The workshop's production base enables OMZ to manufacture oilfield equipment with a high level of accuracy and reliability. Quality control at production stages helps ensure product compliance with industry requirements and use in complex oil and gas projects.
