Cooling Towers

The plant designs and constructs concrete cooling towers and cooling towers with a metal frame. Calculation, design and construction of cooling towers of any capacity are carried out according to a customer's specifications. 

The design of chimney-type cooling towers and their construction is carried out in 2 versions:    • with a sheathed metal frame tower;    • with a reinforced-concrete tower.

The main technological elements (the cooling tower structure), – water-distribution facility, filler, watershed, water catcher and air regulator – perform the same functions in chimney-type cooling towers as they do in fan cooling towers, and can often be similar in design.
The tower water cooler is a large reinforced-concrete or metal pipe of conical shape. Inside this structure there is a water tank, water- and air delivery systems and a filler. Due to the conical design, the air entering the holes at the bottom of the tower moves upward and mixes with water under the natural draft. Such a cooling tower type of is rather economical.
