Centralizers

To reduce wear of the rod string and the tubing joints, it is recommended to use centralizers for the rod strings. Centralizers can be fixed and mounted directly on the rod body by die casting. Rotating centralizers are mounted between the landing seats on the rod body and can rotate on the rod body. Besides protecting from wear, centralizers prevent formation of deposits inside tubing joints and extend the repair-to-repair time of an oil well.
The material of centralizers is a tearproof, fiber-reinforced plastic, neutral to oil products. The construction and size of scratchers are patented in Russia.

Centralizers for progressive cavity pumps (hereafter centralizers) have to comply with the requirements of these specifications and set of design documentation, agreed upon and finalized in accordance with the established procedure.
