Rod Rotators
A rod rotator is used for rotating the rod string during the oil extraction made with sucker-rod pumps. Using rod rotators allows to:
• prevent threaded joints of the sucker-rod string from unscrewing;
• provide the uniform wear of the plunger and the oil-well pump;
• provide the uniform wear of the rod string;
• extend the service durability of sucker rods in curved sections of the oil well due to the constant change in the position of the stressed rod body layers;
• effectively eliminate paraffin deposits in tubing pipes if sucker rods equipped with scratchers and centralizers are used.
