The main task of the laboratory: performing mechanical tests, metallographic and chemical analyses of materials and products against the GOST, TU, API 11B, API 5CT standards.

The measurements taken belong to the sphere of government control (product requirements). The testing equipment conforms with the standards in terms of sufficiency and in terms of the availability of metrological control.
Measurement procedures meet the requirements of the GOST R ISO 5725 (1.6) standard. The laboratory is certified and has a certificate on the status of measurements. The activity of the laboratory is organized in accordance with the quality management system applied at the enterprise.
